The CAI Vinjoy is the Foundation’s commitment and option to take the approach of advanced socio-educational intervention to the field of intellectual disability, as well as, to a lesser extent, that of psychosocial disability.

INTEGRATION SUPPORT CENTER

This Center is the result of the experience of many years accompanying people with disabilities and is specialized in deaf people with associated problems (Reference Center for Asturias), intellectual disabilities (especially for behavioral problems or with potential for social and occupational insertion) and specific cases psychosocial disability or mental health problem.

The operation of the Center structures tomorrow’s activity around the center of interest of self-managed cooperatives, with the afternoons focused on sporting, expressive and recreational activities. This activity, together with the System of participation, co-responsibility and mutual support, the backbone of the Center, and the application of the model to a dynamic and intense educational process, led by a cohesive and constantly evolving team, allow the achievement of surprising results and they show a tangible alternative of the socio-educational approach in the field of disability.
